Russian strikes in Kharkiv — Prosecutor's Office about consequences
On Sunday evening, October 20, the Russian Federation carried out several air strikes in Kharkiv. So far, 12 people have been reported wounded.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Dmytro Chubenko.
The shelling of Kharkiv on October 20
According to Chubenko, the enemy launched four aerial munitions at about 10:00 p.m. Two hits were recorded in the region, two more in Kharkiv — in Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts.
The enemy used several aircraft to carry out the attacks, and the shelling of Kharkiv was carried out from the village of Tamarivka in the Belgorod region. According to preliminary data, it was FABs with universal planning and correction module and a hybrid of an air bomb and Hrom-E1 missile.
As of now, 12 people have been injured in the explosions. They have been diagnosed with both closed head injuries, fractures and acute stress reactions.
In addition, the spokesman clarified the consequences on strikes in two districts.
"In the Kyivskyi district, a private residential area was hit, and a residential house was essentially destroyed. Commercial property, a gas station, and several nearby private houses were also damaged. In the Osnovianskyi district, there was also a direct hit on a residential house, which was essentially destroyed by the explosion. A multi-story residential building was just a few dozen meters away, where dozens of windows and the facade were damaged," said Dmytro Chubenko.
As a reminder, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, power was cut off in three districts of the city as a result of Russian strikes.
