The situation in the Kharkiv sector has become more complicated. The activity of the Russian occupants has increased. At the same time, there are cases when the invaders flee from their positions.

This was reported by the press service of the "Kharkiv" operational and tactical group on Telegram on Tuesday, October 1.

Situation in the Kharkiv direction

In the area of the settlement of Hlyboke, the enemy continues to actively carry out measures to establish minefields.

In the Lukiantsi area, the occupiers are reinforcing their positions, which are held by the 380th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army. At the same time, cases of unauthorized abandonment of positions among the regiment's personnel continue to be recorded.

"In Vovchansk, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces more than ten times over the past day, retreating after suffering losses in manpower and equipment. Currently, they are carrying out limited movements of personnel to evacuate their losses and replenish the current shortage of personnel," the report says.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 16 combat engagements. The enemy carried out one airstrike using a guided bomb (KAB) and 56 attacks with kamikaze drones. The occupiers also launched 418 shellings on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.

In the Kharkiv direction, enemy losses over the past day amounted to 202 soldiers. The occupiers also lost:

  • two tanks;
  • 18 armored fighting vehicles;
  • seven artillery systems;
  • 20 vehicles;
  • four pieces of special equipment;
  • 49 UAVs.

Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters destroyed 69 shelters for the enemy's personnel, as well as three ammunition storage sites.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are in control of the situation and continue to carry out tasks to repel and contain the armed aggression of the Russian Federation," the report says.

Previously, the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, is convinced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in Russia's Kursk region has created a strategic problem for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
