Russia is amassing forces — Kadyrov's men have been deployed to Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, the occupiers are trying to gather 45 thousand men. In addition, units of Kadyrov's men were recently moved to this section of the front line and spotted near Lyptsi. This indicates the enemy's intention to launch a counteroffensive.
This was reported to Channel 24 by Yurii Fedorenko, the Commander of the Achilles air defense systems battalion of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade.
Kadyrov's men in Kharkiv region
Fedorenko said that the Kadyrov's men, who recently appeared in the Kharkiv region, are well-trained fighters, and can participate in sabotage and reconnaissance activities. They are also used for various special tasks, including UAV reconnaissance.
However, the main purpose of the Kadyrov's men presence on this section of the front is to control Russian forces. The commander explained that where there is a breakdown in balance within the Russian occupying forces, issues with discipline, or when their strike-assault potential has been exhausted, the enemy is mobilizing everyone they can in order to maintain the pace of the offensive, so Kadyrov's men appear.
"They have full authorization to commit coercion within the Russian occupation forces, as well as private military companies. In particular, for demonstrative beatings, corporal punishment and even death," Fedorenko said.
He also added that the Russian occupiers rarely surrender themselves, usually they are captured due to the successful actions of Ukrainian fighters. However, there is an explanation for this situation. The Russian army is conducting an agitation campaign that the Russian soldiers are being "mocked" in Ukraine. There is also another reason — the fear of returning to their own country.
"Even if the occupiers are lightly wounded on the battlefield, they very rarely return to their own. Sometimes the enemy chooses to shoot himself in the forehead, because it is easier to go to hell than to return to a Kadyrov's man, who will kill them," the battalion commander explained.
Thus, Yurii Fedorenko concluded that the appearance of Kadyrov's men in the Kharkiv region indicates that the enemy is not going to reduce the intensity of hostilities and is trying to restore order in its structural units. Moreover, Russia has not abandoned its intentions to seize the Kharkiv region, so it is bringing reserves and attracting additional resources.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian border guards recently repulsed one of the most massive attacks of the Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region. They destroyed or damaged 50 units of enemy armored vehicles on their way to Kupiansk.
The Third Assault Brigade also confirmed successful raids in the Kharkiv region. Soldiers managed to retake positions and free Ukrainian defenders from captivity.
