As a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv during October 8, residential buildings were damaged, and the liquidation of the consequences is ongoing. It is known about two dead civilians and more than 30 injured.

This was announced by the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov via Telegram on Tuesday, October 8.

"One of the enemy's ammunition hit the territory of the house in the residential area. The facades and glazing of four nine-story buildings were damaged," the National Police said.

Currently, the city is in the process of liquidation of the consequences. An investigative and operative group, forensic experts and explosives technicians are working at the scene of the flights.

"Thank you to all the services: State Emergency Service, emergency services, police, prosecutor's office, utility workers, volunteers," Sinegubov wrote.

It should be recalled that on the evening of October 8, Russian troops dropped a guided aerial bomb on a high-rise building in Kharkiv. Two dead and at least three injured are known.

On the morning of October 8, the Russian army also launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. An air alert was not announced at the time of the hit.

The occupiers hit an enterprise in Kharkiv's Industrial District. A fire broke out at the site of the hit.
