 The Armed Forces of Ukraine have driven the Russian invaders out of the Kolesnykivskyi forest in the Kharkiv region and got a foothold in the area.

This was reported by the DeepState press service via Telegram on Sunday, December 15.

The situation in the Kharkiv region

Thus, the Defense Forces managed to drive the Russian occupiers out of their positions south of Hlushkivka and gain a foothold there.

In addition to DeepState analysts, this was also reported by the commander of the Achilles aircraft Yurii Fedorenko.

"The defense forces managed to completely block the enemy and not only hold the lines, but also take a number of measures to drive the enemy out of the Kolesnykivskyi forest," he said.

In recent days, Ukrainian units have been consolidating and repelling Russian attempts to return to Kolesnykivskyi Forest.

As a reminder, the soldiers recently smashed the occupiers' hideouts in Kharkiv region.
