Half a million left without power after Kharkiv shelled

On the morning of December 25, Russian troops launched at least 12 missile strikes on industrial facilities and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv. As a result, a total of 500,000 subscribers were left without power, and causing casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on the air of a telethon.

Consequences of rocket attacks on Kharkiv on December 25

Syniehubov said that in addition to the lack of electricity, the city also has problems with heat and water supply. As of now, about 520 thousand subscribers are left without these services. There is no heat in 2,677 buildings.

According to him, the relevant services are eliminating the consequences of the hits and analyzing the extent of the damage. For some of them, we already have tentative recovery schedules.

"We are in constant communication with the President's Office and relevant ministries. We have a proven algorithm of actions and experience in dealing with such situations. We are doing everything possible to return heat, water and electricity to people's homes as soon as possible," added the head of the RMA.

At the same time, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov added that as of now, four people have been reported injured.

On the morning of December 25, at least seven explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Terekhov said that Russians had attacked the city with missiles, and there were victims.

Shortly after that, another explosion occurred in the city. This time, the Russians launched attack drones. The shelling caused a fire in a one-story building.
