On the evening of October 3, the Russian army hit a five-story building in Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. 12 people were injured, including a 3-year-old girl.

This was reported by Oleksii Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department. He showed the first footage after the attack.

"Terrorists shelled residential areas of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. One of the Russian bombs hit a high-rise building. Unfortunately, there are wounded, including a three-year-old child," the statement said. 

Biloshytskyi noted that the police and rescuers evacuated people from the destroyed apartments, and provided assistance to the wounded.

The police also urged people not to ignore air raid alerts and to take shelter during enemy attacks.

In addition, it is known that glass in nearby high-rise buildings was shattered. A polyclinic building and at least 14 cars were also damaged. Psychologists were working at the site of the enemy attack — 23 people received professional help.

As a reminder, Russia attacks Kharkiv region on a daily basis. On October 2 alone, 19 people were injured in the attacks

President Zelensky responded to the Russian attacks in Kharkiv by calling on partners to increase assistance and protection of Ukraine.
